Reports To: Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) under RN direction

Position Summary

At Allure Healthcare Solutions, we’re looking for compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide (PCAs)
who are passionate about helping others. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on support with daily personal tasks
and routines in the homes and communities of those we serve. Your care helps individuals maintain their
health, dignity, and independence while feeling safe and respected every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility assistance, and feeding.
• Assist with IADLs when related to ADLs, including light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and errands like prescription pickup.
• Support clients with managing personal affairs, self-administration of medication (as allowed), and home organization.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment in accordance with care plans.
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition or environment to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow activity plans developed by a supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided, including dates, times, and tasks completed.
• Participate in required ongoing training and in-service education (minimum 6 hours annually)

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet one or more of the following:
• Current CNA certification (Formally STNA) listed as active or in good standing with the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry.
• One year of supervised experience as a home health aide or nurse aide with verified competency.
• Completion of approved PCA training program totaling with competency evaluation in:
  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Infection control
  • Basic body functions and emergency response
  • Communication and recordkeeping
  • Nutrition and meal planning
  • Home safety and environmental care

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of orientation before client contact
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess valid photo ID, Valid Social Security Card and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English
• Commitment to client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Willingness to travel to client homes across designated service areas.
• Must adhere to electronic visit verification (EVV) procedures.

Compensation

• Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience.
